These originals are from my second album, which is just me playing traditional acoustic blues on my dad's guitar. I dedicated this collection of songs to my father, who I did not know since he died when I was a year old. Award-winning producer/engineer Chris Biondo (Biondo Music), known for his work with the late Eva Cassidy, engineered this album. It was an amazing experience to work with him on this special project. --Melanie

From my third CD, recorded live at the legendary Blues Alley nightclub in D.C. The album has 14 songs; half are penned by me, the other half by some of my favorite artists. Featured is special guest Tommy Lepson (organ/vocals), Sam Goodall (bass), ElTorro Gamble (drums), and me (guitar/vocals). Andy Roberts captured our live sound and Tommy mixed the album.
